 German Shepherd Dog (GSD) - Duchess Von Viking, CGC  "Maggie May"

Maggie came to live with us 2 days after we lost our beloved Zack.  We were so sad that Rick's son, Shannon, found Maggie and brought her to us.  She brought joy back into our lives and paved the way for many more paws running around our house.  Maggie is the ultimate frisbee and ball dog.  Maggie thinks the Cardis are her babies and is a watchful Mom.  She is very patient with her "brood".

Blue Heeler Jack Russell Mix - "Spike"

Spike came to us by accident.  He was living nearby in a neglectful home.  Spike was badly injured when hit by a car.  We watched helplessly as he hopped around on three legs for two days before telling his "owners" they needed to let us have him.  We nursed him back to health and he has been my best buddy ever since.  Spike is a joyful dog who looks like a giant blue merle Jack Russell.  His favorite pastime is chasing planes as they fly over our house.
